Cosmopolitan square firetable: a 36-inch square that hides the propane tank inside
The American Fyre Designs Cosmopolitan square firetable is a square table measuring 36 inches across and 24 inches tall. Its slab top sits over a hollow base that narrows toward the floor and holds a 5-gallon propane tank inside. Cast in concrete reinforced with glass fibers, it has the look of stone at a fraction of the weight and comes in seven colors.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Turn the knob and press the igniter to light it, or add the Fyrestarter Bluetooth control and start it from your phone. The 12-inch stainless steel star burner sits at the center and is included along with the pan, fittings, and lava granules, and you pick the fill on the page: lava, fire glass, or glass gems. At 36 inches square and 24 inches tall, it is the smallest footprint in the Cosmopolitan table family – the rectangle runs 54 inches long, the round spans 48, and the dining table stretches to 60. That makes the Square the pick for tighter patios and courtyards, where the larger tables would crowd the seating rather than serve it.
Does a compact table still deliver a real flame?
Yes. Its 12-inch stainless steel star burner occupies a healthy share of the 36-inch top, so the flame presents as the table’s main event rather than a small accent. Relative to its surface, this compact model gives the fire as much visual weight as its larger siblings do – the scale shrinks, the drama does not.
Which fuels can the Square Firetable use?
It comes in natural gas and propane versions. Natural gas suits a patio already plumbed for it and never needs refilling; the propane version keeps the table independent of household gas entirely. Whichever you order arrives built for that fuel, so settle the question against your site before purchase rather than after delivery.
How does a square top organize chairs?
Four equal sides give the layout instant order: a chair or loveseat per side, everyone the same distance from the centered flame, no seat obviously better than another. Should I pick the Square Firetable or the Square Dining Table?
Decide by how your evenings actually go. This Square Firetable stands 24 inches tall at 36 inches across – lounge scale, built for low chairs, drinks, and conversation. The Cosmo Square Dining Table is a different animal: 60 inches across at a full 29-inch dining height. If meals lead, go dining; if unwinding leads, the firetable fits better.
Why are Cosmopolitan firetables 24 inches tall?
At 24 inches the tabletop lines up with the arm height of typical outdoor lounge furniture, so reaching the surface or adjusting the fire never means bending toward ankle level. The height also gives each table enough body to house its hardware cleanly. The rectangle, round, and square all share this 24-inch line, which is why the series mixes so well.
Can this firetable live beside a pool?
Poolside gatherings are one of the settings it was designed for. Two Ways to Light It
Manual Flame Sensing Control System
Standard on every model. A manual battery-powered spark igniter with a thermocouple-equipped control and manual flame height adjustment — no electricity needed. If the thermocouple stops sensing a flame, the gas shuts off automatically, regardless of valve position.
FyreStarter Bluetooth Control
This convenient ON/OFF – High/Low electronic system lets you run the fire from your smartphone — just download the app — or manually at the appliance. Two USB ports (A & C) charge phones, outdoor speakers and more. Optional 110V upgrade, available on the Contempo, Iron Saddle, Legend, Cosmopolitan, Calais Oval and Milan firetables.
Natural Gas or Propane, Your Choice
Every firetable is available for natural gas or propane, so it fits your setup whether you have a gas line on the patio or not. (The Contempo LP Select is propane only.)
Going with propane? Most models include a hidden access door with a tank retention frame that holds a standard 5-gallon LP tank inside the table itself. The tank stays completely out of sight, with no hoses running across your patio. (Tank storage is not included on the Contempo, Iron Saddle, Legend, Calais and Milan firetables.)

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
