Legend Long LP Select: a 72-inch propane fire table with a slide-out tank drawer
The American Fyre Designs Legend Long LP Select firetable is a rectangular Legend Long, 72 inches wide and 36 inches deep, raised to 20 inches tall to fit a standard 20 pound propane tank inside. The end panel pulls out on drawer slides with the tank on a tray, so there is no gas line to run. It is cast in glass fiber reinforced concrete, which looks like stone at a fraction of the weight, and comes in seven colors.
It runs on propane only, and you light it by turning the knob and pressing the igniter; the Bluetooth control is not offered on this model. The 48 inch stainless steel linear burner, pan, fittings, regulator, tank drawer, and lava granules are included, and you pick the fill on the page: lava, fire glass, or glass gems. How big is the Legend Long LP Select?
It spans 72 inches wide by 36 inches deep and stands 20 inches tall, which makes it the largest table in the Legend series by overall volume – the plumbed Long shares its top but sits lower. Six feet of handcrafted glass fiber reinforced concrete gives it genuine architectural presence, with generous surface left around the flame for drinks, decor, and snacks.
How much fire does the 48-inch burner deliver here?
Up to 65,000 BTUs of radiant heat, laid out along a 48-inch stainless steel run – two-thirds the length of the tabletop. The fire reads as one continuous band rather than a central cluster, warming the full stretch of seating beside it, and the flame stays in proportion to the six-foot top instead of looking lost in the middle of it.
What separates the two Legend Long versions?
Fuel architecture, height, and output. The plumbed Legend Long connects to a natural gas or propane line, stands 14.5 inches, and is rated up to 100,000 BTUs. This LP Select build is propane-only and self-contained, stands 20 inches to house its concealed cylinder drawer, and runs up to 65,000 BTUs. Same 72-by-36-inch top on both – choose by whether a gas line can reach the site.
How much seating can a six-foot fire table serve?
Think in terms of frontage: each 72-inch side accommodates a full run of chairs or the long leg of a sectional, and the 36-inch depth keeps everyone within easy reach of the surface. Few propane fire tables offer this much edge to gather around, which is exactly why the Long format exists – big groups, one fire, nobody in a second row.
Does weather wear on the GFRC body?
Glass fiber reinforced concrete is chosen for exactly this duty. The material is weather-resistant and built for daily outdoor use, and because each table is handcrafted and finished before it ships, there is no applied coating waiting to peel or fade. Routine care is simple – keep the surface clean and treat it like the permanent outdoor fixture it is designed to be.
What does the 36-inch depth give you?
Working margin. With the burner running lengthwise up the middle, a 36-inch-deep top leaves a broad band of usable concrete along each side of the flame – space for setting down glasses and trays, and comfortable distance between the table edge and the fire itself. Narrower tables put the flame closer to your forearms; this one gives everyone room to lean in.
Can a big fire table run entirely on propane?
This one is engineered to. Everything the 48-inch burner needs rides inside the base, drawing from a standard 20-pound cylinder hidden in the drawer, so a table with six feet of presence requires no trenching, no utility scheduling, and no visible tank beside the furniture. Self-containment usually means small; the Legend Long LP Select is the exception built for full-scale entertaining.

Two Ways to Light It
Manual Flame Sensing Control System
Standard on every model. A manual battery-powered spark igniter with a thermocouple-equipped control and manual flame height adjustment — no electricity needed. If the thermocouple stops sensing a flame, the gas shuts off automatically, regardless of valve position.
FyreStarter Bluetooth Control
This convenient ON/OFF – High/Low electronic system lets you run the fire from your smartphone — just download the app — or manually at the appliance. Two USB ports (A & C) charge phones, outdoor speakers and more. Optional 110V upgrade, available on the Contempo, Iron Saddle, Legend, Cosmopolitan, Calais Oval and Milan firetables.
Natural Gas or Propane, Your Choice
Every firetable is available for natural gas or propane, so it fits your setup whether you have a gas line on the patio or not. (The Contempo LP Select is propane only.)
Going with propane? Most models include a hidden access door with a tank retention frame that holds a standard 5-gallon LP tank inside the table itself. The tank stays completely out of sight, with no hoses running across your patio. (Tank storage is not included on the Contempo, Iron Saddle, Legend, Calais and Milan firetables.)

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
