Detroit Radiant TH-PTLV: a programmable thermostat for 120 volt electric heaters
The Detroit Radiant TH-PTLV Programmable Line Voltage Thermostat is a temperature control for 120 volt electric heaters. Line voltage means it uses the heater’s power supply to control the heat. You can program a seven day schedule with four periods each day, so your temperature settings can follow your routine throughout the week. The temperature range is 40 to 86 degrees F. It fits 120 volt versions of Detroit Radiant DSS, BAH, ELD and ELX heaters that fall within its electrical rating. The heater’s voltage matters here, even when the series name matches.
No transformer or relay is needed with this thermostat. Pair it with a compatible 120 volt electric heater; it is not for 24 volt gas patio heaters. Detroit Radiant builds these controls for its own heaters, so the wiring and voltages match. Prefer a simple dial? See the Detroit Radiant TH-1A66 Line Voltage Thermostat. The Detroit Radiant TH-PTLV Programmable Line Voltage Thermostat ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.
