Fire Magic Aurora Power Burner: two burner rings for big pots and wok cooking
The Fire Magic Aurora Power Burner is a built in power burner. Built in means it slides into a cutout in the counter, so it has no legs of its own. Power burner means a big two ring burner for a wok, a turkey fryer, or a crab pot, jobs a regular side burner cannot do. Set its counter a little lower than the grill, so a tall pot sits at a safe height. Fire Magic builds it in the USA from 304 stainless steel, the grade that holds up best outdoors. The inner ring simmers at 3,000 to 15,000 BTUs, the outer ring roars up to 45,000, and together they give 60,000 BTUs.
A stainless steel lid covers the grate when you are not cooking, and the knobs light up, so plan for an outlet. On the page you pick natural gas or propane, and it comes built for that gas. Cooking with everyday pots and pans? See the Fire Magic Aurora Double Side Burner. The Fire Magic Aurora Power Burner ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What is the Aurora Power Burner used for?
It is Fire Magic’s largest side cooker, built for wok stir-fry, frying a turkey or boiling a big pot. Two burner rings deliver from 3,000 up to 60,000 BTUs: the inner burner runs 3,000 to 15,000 BTUs for simmering and the outer burner up to 45,000 BTUs for a hard boil, with back-lit control knobs.
What cutout does it need?
The opening is 19 inches wide, 18 3/4 inches deep and 11 1/2 inches high, with a 20 1/4 inch control panel width in the Fire Magic spec guide. Because tall pots sit high on a power burner, consider setting its section of the counter lower than the grill counter so a stock pot or fryer stays at a safe working height.
Natural gas or propane?
Both. Pick the fuel on the Gas Type selector; the Specifications tab lists 19-7B1N-0 for natural gas and 19-7B1P-0 for propane. A burner that can pull 60,000 BTUs needs an adequately sized gas line, so have your installer check pipe size on a long run.
Stainless steel or porcelain cast iron grid?
This listing is the 19-7B1N version with the stainless steel grid shown in the photos. Fire Magic also makes it with a porcelain cast iron grid as the 19-7B2N. The grid is not an on-page selector, so contact us if you want the cast iron grid. More options are in side burners.
Is a lid included?
Yes, a removable stainless steel lid covers the grid when the burner is not in use and matches the brushed Aurora control face. Remove it before lighting and let the burner cool before putting it back.
Does it need electricity?
The back-lit knobs indicate the unit is designed to be powered, and the comfort touch knobs light with a red flame icon when a burner is on. Plan for the same weatherproof GFCI outlet the Aurora grills use, and follow the installation manual supplied with the burner for the power supply hookup.
