Fire Magic Echelon Power Burner: two rings for simmering sauces or boiling big pots
The Fire Magic Echelon Power Burner is a built in power burner. Built in means it slides into a cutout in the counter, so it has no legs of its own. Fire Magic suggests setting its counter 6 to 12 inches lower than the grill, so a tall pot sits at a safe height. Power burner means a big two ring burner for a wok, a turkey fryer, or a crab pot, jobs a regular side burner cannot do. Fire Magic builds it in the USA from 304 stainless steel, the grade that holds up best outdoors. The inner ring simmers at 3,000 to 15,000 BTUs, the outer ring roars up to 45,000, and together they give 60,000 BTUs.
For a wok you lift the grate off and set the wok right on the flame ring. A stainless steel lid covers it when you are not cooking, and the knobs light up. It takes its power from the Echelon or Aurora grill next to it. On the page you pick natural gas or propane, and it comes built for that gas. What is a power burner used for?
It is a high-output side cooker for jobs a regular side burner cannot handle: wok stir-fry, frying a turkey, boiling a crab or pasta pot. This one reaches 60,000 BTUs, and a 10-inch flame collimator concentrates the heat in the center quarter of the unit, up to 190 BTUs per square inch, so a wok gets restaurant-style heat.
How do the two burners work together?
The left knob runs the inner burner from 3,000 to 15,000 BTUs for simmering, while the larger right knob controls the outer ring up to 45,000 BTUs. Use the inner burner alone for a sauce, or both for a rolling boil. The knobs are back-lit and a power switch turns the lighting on and off.
How is the Echelon Power Burner powered?
The page says it plugs into an Echelon Diamond or Aurora grill’s transformer, and the manual supplies a 6 foot wire harness extension for that connection. If there is no Fire Magic grill next to it, the manual notes an optional independent power supply can be ordered through the dealer. An Echelon griddle’s supply can power only one side cooker.
Should I choose the stainless steel or porcelain cast iron grid?
Use the grid selector on this page: stainless steel is standard as model 19-6B1N-0, and porcelain cast iron is the 19-6B2N-0 version at the upcharge shown on the selector. For wok cooking the manual says to remove the grid entirely; the wok then sits on the flame collimator, which doubles as a stir-fry ring.
What cutout does it need, and how deep should the enclosure be?
The opening is 19 inches wide, 18 3/4 inches deep and 11 1/2 inches high. The manual strongly recommends building the power burner enclosure 6 to 12 inches lower than the main countertop so a tall pot such as a turkey fryer with 40 pounds of hot oil sits at a safe height. Leave 2 inches beyond the hangers for airflow, and use the insulating liner in combustible enclosures.
Is it available for natural gas and propane?
Yes. Pick the fuel with the Gas Type selector before adding to cart; natural gas models end in N and propane models in P, as the Specifications tab lists. The manual requires a gas line of at least 1/2 inch inside diameter and warns that long runs may need a larger pipe to keep pressure up at full output. Other side burners are listed here.
Is a lid included?
Yes, a removable stainless steel lid comes with the unit to cover the grid when it is not in use. When cooking, the manual cautions never to cover more than 75 percent of the cooking surface with pots or griddles, since trapped combustion heat will overheat the burner. Let the burner cool before replacing the lid.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit.
