MCO Pools Bora Bora Fiberglass Pool: a wave shaped pool with three places to sit
The MCO Pools Bora Bora Fiberglass Pool is a wave shaped pool with three benches for people who want somewhere to sit as much as somewhere to swim. It measures 12 by 26 feet and runs from 3 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 6 inches deep. Stair entry gives you a way to walk into the water. The floor, walls, benches, and steps are molded in one piece with the color already on. Your builder sets a finished shell rather than building the pool on site.
The price is for the shell only; your pool builder adds the pump, filter, heater, coping, and decking. Choose Caribbean Blue, Cancun White, or Eclipse Gray on the page at no extra charge. You can also add a separate Santorini Spa or Mykonos spa shell to ride along in the same delivery. Prefer curved seating in the same size? See the MCO Pools Capri 12 Fiberglass Pool. The MCO Pools Bora Bora Fiberglass Pool comes from My Cozy Outdoors with delivery included within 250 miles of Rio Medina, Texas, No Sales Tax (except WY), and the MCO limited lifetime warranty.

FAQ
How much does a fiberglass pool cost?
For the Bora Bora, the page price is the shell: a 12 by 26 ft wave-shaped pool with three molded benches and stair entry, in your choice of three shades at no extra charge. Freight is quoted separately before you order, sales tax applies only to Wyoming, and pump, filter, heater, excavation, coping and decking are priced by your pool builder. Do fiberglass pools crack?
The Bora Bora’s wall is built to resist it: layers of resin with chopped fiberglass absorb impacts and flex, and a Nidacore honeycomb core stiffens the shell against deformation. The warranty covers structural failure that causes water loss for as long as the original owner keeps it, while hairline surface cracks in the gelcoat are excluded, so keep the pool full and the groundwater managed.
Can a fiberglass pool pop out of the ground?
An empty shell can be lifted by groundwater, which is why the warranty requires this pool to stay full at all times and is voided if groundwater is allowed to accumulate under or around it. Your builder should manage drainage and keep runoff away from the pool area, and you should never drain the Bora Bora without direction from the manufacturer.
How do you maintain a fiberglass pool?
Test the water two to three times a week as the linked service manual recommends, balancing alkalinity, then pH, then chlorine, and add acid in small doses. Brush the surface, keep the water level at the skimmer, and have a pool professional test weekly and keep the printouts, which the warranty asks for. The diamond flake gelcoat on this shell is designed to be low maintenance.
Can fiberglass pools be installed above ground?
The Bora Bora is sold as an inground shell, and the warranty requires installation to the ANSI/APSP-5 residential inground pool standard, local codes and the manufacturer’s procedures, with backfill and groundwater managed around it. A raised or partly exposed installation is not something the warranty contemplates, so talk to us and your builder before planning one.
How are fiberglass pools made?
The Manufacturing Process tab walks through it: a high-precision mold is prepared, gelcoat is sprayed on first, a vinylester layer follows to block osmosis, chopped fiberglass and resin are built up in layers, a Nidacore honeycomb core is integrated into the walls, and final layers are added and cured before inspection, trimming and polishing. The Bora Bora is made this way in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.
