MCO Pools Kauai Fiberglass Pool: a straight sided rectangle for swimming lengths
The MCO Pools Kauai Fiberglass Pool is a plain rectangle with straight walls, made for swimming lengths. It measures 12 by 25 feet, giving you a full 25 foot run. The depth goes from 3 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 5 inches. That shallower deep end means a shallower hole than a deeper pool needs. The floor and walls arrive molded in one piece with the color already on, so your builder sets a finished shell instead of building the pool on site.
Choose Caribbean Blue, Cancun White, or Eclipse Gray at no extra charge. You can also add a Santorini Spa or Mykonos spa shell on this page. It rides along in the same delivery. The price is for the shell only; your pool builder adds the pump, filter, heater, coping, and decking. Coping is the border around the pool’s edge. Need a smaller rectangle? The MCO Pools Kauai Fiberglass Pool comes from My Cozy Outdoors with delivery included within 250 miles of Rio Medina, Texas, No Sales Tax (except WY), and the MCO limited lifetime warranty.

FAQ
How deep are fiberglass pools?
Each molded shell has its own fixed profile. The Kauai runs from 3 ft 6 in at the shallow end to 5 ft 5 in at the deep end, a comfortable swimming depth for adults without the 6 ft deep end of the larger models, which also keeps the excavation shallower. Treat it as a non-diving pool and follow local safety and barrier codes. See other shapes among our fiberglass pools.
Is fiberglass better than concrete for a small pool?
For a 12 by 25 ft rectangle like the Kauai, the shell arrives finished in one piece, so there is no rebar, plaster, gunite or shotcrete work on site, and the linked brochure says fiberglass needs about 30 percent less maintenance and chlorine with no resurfacing later. The straight walls still give a full 25 ft run for swimming lengths.
Do fiberglass pools crack?
The Kauai’s laminate is built to flex rather than crack: resin with chopped fiberglass absorbs impact, and woven fiberglass over a Nidacore honeycomb core stiffens the straight walls against backfill. The warranty covers structural failure that causes water loss for as long as the original owner keeps it; hairline surface cracks are excluded, and draining the pool voids coverage.
How do you winterize a fiberglass pool?
Leave the water in. The warranty requires the Kauai to remain full at all times, so winterizing is a matter of balancing the water, protecting the equipment and lowering the level only as far as your pool professional advises, never emptying the shell. Keep runoff and groundwater away from the pool area, since hydrostatic pressure around an empty shell voids coverage.
Do fiberglass pools leak?
The manufacturer warrants the Kauai to hold water and covers structural failure that causes water loss for the original owner. Before assuming a leak, the linked service manual notes a pool normally loses 1 to 3 inches a week to evaporation and describes a simple bucket test to compare; it also says to check the equipment area and the pump for air first.
How much does a fiberglass pool cost?
The Kauai’s page price is the shell in your choice of three shades. Freight from Rio Medina, Texas, is free within 250 miles and billed per mile beyond that at the Shipping tab rate, confirmed in your quote before you order. Equipment, excavation, coping and decking are priced by your builder, and sales tax applies only to Wyoming.
