MCO Pools Maui Fiberglass Pool: three benches and a round tanning ledge for resting
The MCO Pools Maui Fiberglass Pool is a freeform pool with plenty of places to rest: three bench areas, four steps in, and a round tanning ledge. Its curved outline measures 14 by 30 feet, with water depths from 4 feet to 6 feet. You have separate bench areas to settle into, plus the round ledge for resting in the sun. The floor, walls, benches, and steps are molded together in one piece with the color already on. Your builder sets a finished shell rather than building the pool itself on site.
The price is for the shell only; your pool builder adds the pump, filter, heater, coping, and decking. Choose Caribbean Blue, Cancun White, or Eclipse Gray on this page at no extra charge. You can also add a separate Santorini Spa or Mykonos spa shell to ride along in the same delivery. Want the hot tub molded into the pool instead? See the MCO Pools Santorini Fiberglass Pool with Spa. The MCO Pools Maui Fiberglass Pool comes from My Cozy Outdoors with delivery included within 250 miles of Rio Medina, Texas, No Sales Tax (except WY), and the MCO limited lifetime warranty.

FAQ
Are fiberglass pools better than concrete?
The brochure in the Manuals tab makes the case: a fiberglass shell needs no rebar, plaster, gunite or shotcrete, so installation is cleaner, and it needs about 30 percent less maintenance and chlorine to stay clean, with no resurfacing to budget for later. The Maui arrives as a finished 14 by 30 ft freeform piece, which is the main practical difference from a pool built on site. Browse all our fiberglass pools.
Do fiberglass pools have liners?
No. The Maui is a solid six-layer laminate: a gelcoat with diamond flake finish, a clear UV coat, a vinylester barrier against osmosis, chopped fiberglass and resin, woven fiberglass with a Nidacore honeycomb core, and a resin base layer. The colored gelcoat is the swimming surface, so there is no liner to stretch, patch or replace.
Can fiberglass pools be salt water?
Yes. The warranty card allows a salt chlorine generator on this pool provided you follow the generator maker’s guidelines and keep the water balanced as the linked service manual describes. There is no plaster for salt to etch, but the warranty still requires weekly testing by a pool professional with the printouts kept, since those records support any claim.
Do fiberglass pools fade in the sun?
The Maui’s build puts a clear UV protection coat over the diamond flake gelcoat specifically to resist discoloration, and the Colors tab describes each of the three shades as made to endure. Fading and staining are excluded from the warranty, which covers the surface against osmotic blistering only, so balanced water chemistry is what keeps Caribbean Blue, Cancun White or Eclipse Gray looking new.
Where can I buy a fiberglass pool shell?
Right here: this listing is the Maui shell, manufactured in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, and shipped from our distributor in Rio Medina, Texas, by flatbed to the lower 48 states. Delivery is free within 250 miles of Rio Medina and billed per mile beyond that at the rate in the Shipping tab. You arrange a crane to offload it and a licensed builder to set it.
Can a fiberglass pool be heated?
Yes. The shell has no built-in heater; a heater is part of the pump, filter and plumbing package your pool builder designs around the Maui, sized for its 14 by 30 ft volume. If you add a spa from the selector on this page, tell the builder so the heater is sized for both. The linked service manual has a heater troubleshooting section for once it is installed.
