MCO Pools Santorini Fiberglass Pool with Spa: a freeform pool with a hot tub and tanning ledge
The MCO Pools Santorini Fiberglass Pool with Spa is a freeform pool with a curved outline, a hot tub molded in, and a tanning ledge beside it. It measures 14 by 30 feet and runs from 4 feet to 6 feet deep. The hot tub and tanning ledge, a shallow platform for lounging, sit at the shallow end. Three bench areas give you places to sit, and four steps lead in. Pool with spa means the hot tub basin is molded into the same shell, so both arrive and are set as one piece.
The price is for the shell only; your pool builder adds the pump, filter, heater, coping, and decking. Your only choice on the page is color: Caribbean Blue, Cancun White, or Eclipse Gray, at no extra charge. The spa is already part of the shell. FAQ
How much does a fiberglass pool cost?
The price on this page is for the Santorini shell itself: the 14 by 30 ft pool with its molded hot tub, benches, steps and tanning ledge, in your choice of three shades. Freight is quoted separately and confirmed before you order, and equipment, excavation, coping and decking come through your pool builder. We do not charge sales tax except on orders shipping to Wyoming.
What is a fiberglass pool with spa?
It is a single molded shell that contains both a swimming pool and a hot tub basin, so the two arrive and are set as one piece instead of being built separately. On the Santorini the spa sits at the shallow end beside the tanning ledge; heating, jets and the valving that lets it run warmer than the pool are added by your builder. How long do fiberglass pools last?
The MCO Limited Lifetime Warranty linked in the Manuals tab covers this shell against structural failure that causes water loss, and the finish against osmotic blistering, for as long as the original residential buyer owns it. The six-layer laminate has no vinyl liner to replace and no plaster to resurface, so with balanced water and the pool kept full there is no scheduled rebuild.
How deep are fiberglass pools?
Molded shells come with a fixed depth profile, and this one runs from 4 ft in the shallow end to 6 ft at the deep end, the deepest in the MCO range. The hot tub and tanning ledge are shallower seated areas at one end, and the three benches give places to sit along the walls. Match the profile to your local safety and barrier rules before ordering.
How long does it take to install a fiberglass pool?
The shell is guaranteed to deliver within 4 to 5 weeks of ordering and arrives finished, so the builder sets the one-piece pool and spa by crane rather than forming it on site. How long the whole project takes depends on your builder’s excavation, plumbing, backfill and decking schedule, so ask them for a timeline when you request a quote.
Can you drain a fiberglass pool?
No. The warranty states the pool is designed to remain full of water at all times and is voided by unauthorized draining or by groundwater building up around the shell, because an empty shell can lift or distort. Clean and brush it full, keep the level at the skimmer, and if a repair ever requires draining, let the manufacturer or an approved contractor direct the bracing and dewatering.
