The SaunaLife CL5G is a four person outdoor cube sauna kit with a full front wall of bronze tinted glass. It is built from thermo-spruce, which is spruce baked in a kiln so it shrugs off moisture. The wood needs little upkeep. A shingled roof and black painted front trim finish the outside. It takes up about 81 by 63 inches of yard. Inside, shaped aspen benches form an L, with a long bench along the back, a lower bench in front of it, and a short side bench.
The kit includes the wall staves, the glass front and door, the benches, the shingle roof kit, the heater guard, and the LED lights. A white LED light bar dims from your phone or a remote. The heater is not included, so pick one of the 4 electric heater packages on the page, from 6 to 7.5 kW; each comes with its control and stones. The heater is chosen at checkout rather than bundled in the base kit. The Select Heater for your Sauna option on this page offers Harvia KIP 6kW and Harvia Wall 6kW packages with built-in or Wi-Fi digital controls, plus a HUUM DROP 7.5kW kit with the UKU Wi-Fi controller. Every package includes sauna stones, and each option’s pricing is shown right on the selector.
Thermo-Spruce is spruce that has been thermally enhanced through an organic process, which makes it stronger, more dimensionally stable, and naturally resistant to decay and pests. This cube’s walls are full-length staves 1.7 inches thick, and the included shingle kit with drip rails manages rainwater, so the interior stays dry through changing outdoor conditions.
It seats up to four bathers. The interior measures 77.2 inches wide, 55.1 inches deep, and 74.8 inches high, with contoured seating and supportive backrests cut from knotless Thermo-Aspen. The full-glass front keeps the space feeling bright and open, so four adults can share a session without it feeling cramped.
The included white LED light bar runs on low-voltage 24-volt DC power for bathing safety and is operated from a Wi-Fi app or the wireless handheld remote. The LED and wire connections are water- and heat-rated to IP67, mounting clips install flush or articulating, and the system can expand to control up to four white light sources.
It arrives as a DIY kit: pre-cut Thermo-Spruce walls, the tempered bronze glass front wall and door, roof shingles, a heater guard, a montage kit, and step-by-step installation instructions all ship together. It ships by freight on a wooden pallet at a flat rate to the contiguous United States, with delivery scheduled by appointment. The driver handles curbside delivery only and lowers the shipment to ground level. I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.

We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit.
