The SaunaLife G6 arrives fully built. It is a five person outdoor sauna you set in place rather than assemble. The outside is spruce painted black. The inside is smooth alder, including the two rows of benches. The walls are about 7 inches thick, which keeps the heat in and the noise out. The whole front wall is double glazed glass with a black framed glass door. It takes up about 95 by 83 inches of yard.
It comes with the benches, the floor grate, the lighting, and a sealed outdoor control box, so the heater wiring stays dry. The lights dim from your phone or a remote, and a pair of Bluetooth speakers is built in. The heater is not included, so pick one of the 3 electric heater packages on the page, from 9.6 to 10.5 kW; each comes with its control. A bucket and ladle, the SaunaZone, and wood care oils are optional on the page. The G6 is delivered by freight in one piece, and you are responsible for unloading it with a forklift or crane. Does this sauna really arrive fully assembled?
Yes, the G6 ships as a complete, factory-built room, which is where the construction savings come from, there is no multi-day kit build. You will need a forklift or crane to offload it from the truck and set it in place, and then it is positioned, connected, and ready to enjoy.
What electrical equipment comes with it?
The package includes the SaunaGear 300 outdoor sauna control box and SaunaGear 302 outdoor electrical box, both rated IP67 for watertight equipment installation outdoors. The LED lighting system arrives pre-wired with Wi-Fi app and remote operation, so your electrician’s work is limited to connecting supply power to the prepared boxes and the heater.
Which heaters can I pair with it?
Three packages are offered on this page’s heater selector: the Saunum AIR L 10 Wi-Fi package at 9.6kW, the HIVE Mini 10.5kW kit with the UKU Wi-Fi controller and stones, and the Harvia Virta HL110E 10.5kW package with Xenio CX45 Wi-Fi control. Does it have built-in audio?
Yes, a pair of Bluetooth speakers is built into the sauna, so you can stream music straight from your phone without adding any equipment inside the hot room. Combined with the dimmable LED mood lighting behind the backrest and under the benches, the room is set up for atmosphere out of the box.
How well is it insulated?
The walls are about 7 inches thick, a massive section compared with typical panel construction, which improves both heat retention and acoustic isolation. The front wall is full double-glazed tempered glass, and the slanted roof carries a rainwater control system, so the room stays warm, quiet, and dry in outdoor conditions year-round.
What is the interior like?
Furniture-grade Alder throughout, with two-tier benches for up to five bathers and a smooth Alder floor grate over PVC subflooring, which feels comfortable underfoot instead of cold. Dimmable LED bar lighting runs behind the backrest and under the benches, controlled by app or remote, giving the room a warm, upscale glow.
Why is the exterior black?
The cladding is finely sawn spruce painted black, a modern Scandinavian look that contrasts with the clear double-glazed glass front and the warm Alder interior glowing through it. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
