Luna Fire Pit: a compact round concrete fire pit for small patios
The Outdoor Plus Luna fire pit is a traditional round gas fire pit with gently curved sides, and at 30 or 38 inches across it is one of the brand’s most compact concrete pieces, sized for snug patios. It is cast in the USA from GFRC, a glass-fiber concrete that looks like stone but weighs far less, and comes in 18 finishes.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. The burner, pan, hose, fittings, and lava rock are included; a key valve, cover, and fire glass are optional. Need something bigger? See the 48-inch Tempe concrete fire pit. The Luna fire pit ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
Who is the Luna Fire Pit for?
Small-space fire people. At 30 and 38 inches, the Luna is one of the most compact GFRC concrete pieces The Outdoor Plus makes — sized for snug patios, balconies with proper clearances, and courtyard corners where a 60-inch bowl would swallow the room but you still want real flame.
What exactly are the two sizes?
30-inch (OPT-LUN30) and 38-inch (OPT-LUN38). The 30-inch Luna is a true intimate-scale fire feature — two to four chairs — while the 38-inch stretches to a standard conversation circle. Both are cast in lightweight GFRC, so repositioning them does not require a crew.
What comes included?
The complete burn kit: fire pan, plate burner, nipple, whistle-free gas hoses, a gas orifice matched to your fuel order, and lava rock. The Luna needs only a licensed fuel connection to go from crate to first fire — there is no accessory shopping list.
How many finish colors can I pick from?
Eighteen GFRC finishes, from Ash, Natural Gray, and Slate through Chestnut, Chocolate, and Coffee to Limestone, Rustic White, and Vanilla. It is the same broad palette as the large-format bowls, so a compact Luna can still color-match any concrete fire pit scheme in your landscape plan.
Can I have a fire pit in a small urban backyard?
Usually yes — and the Luna is built for exactly that case. Gas means no smoke to trigger burn bans or neighbor complaints, and the 30-inch footprint makes clearance requirements achievable on tight lots. Verify your city setback rules and HOA terms, and use a licensed installer for gas.
Is GFRC concrete okay in the rain?
Yes — GFRC is made for outdoor exposure, and the Luna will weather rain and seasonal swings without structural complaint. The practical care is about the fire system: keep standing water out of the pan, dry before lighting, and cover it through the off-season to protect the finish.
How is fuel decided?
At purchase — each Luna is built to order for Liquid Propane or Natural Gas and ships configured for your choice. For balconies and compact patios, propane offers flexibility; if your courtyard has a plumbed line, natural gas makes the Luna effectively endless to run.
