Maya Planter and Water Bowl in Concrete: a square stone-look bowl with plants and a copper spill
The Outdoor Plus Maya planter and water bowl is a square concrete bowl with a planting well in the middle and a copper scupper that pours water from the front edge. Choose 24, 30, or 36 inches across. Handmade in the USA, its glass-fiber concrete looks like solid stone at a fraction of the weight and comes in 18 colors.
The copper scupper and water fitting are included; you supply the water line. Just want water? The Maya water bowl skips the planter ring. The Maya planter and water bowl ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What does the Maya planter and water bowl actually do?
Two things at once: its planted section keeps greenery above the pool wall while a copper scupper sends a clean fall of water into the pool below. It is the Maya series profile — the one the fire bowls made famous — reassigned to water and plants.
Which sizes and SKUs can I get?
Three: OPT-24SPW, OPT-30SPW, and OPT-36SPW at 24, 30, and 36 inches. Matching sizes across the Maya family means you can alternate this water-and-planter version with fire bowls of identical scale along one bond beam without a hint of visual mismatch.
What finish options exist?
Eighteen GFRC colors — Ash, Black, Bronze, Chestnut, Chocolate, Coffee, Limestone, Moss Stone, Pearl, Rustic White, Slate, Vanilla, and more. Order every Maya on the project in one finish and the fire, water, and planted bowls read as a single cast set.
Who plumbs the water feature?
Your pool contractor — the copper scupper is fed by a line off the pool’s circulation system, balanced at install so the spill runs steady. Treat it as part of the pool’s plumbing scope. The planted side needs nobody: soil in, plants in, done.
Will the water path bother the plants, or vice versa?
Neither — the Maya keeps its planter compartment separate from the water channel, so soil never migrates into the spill and the spill never floods the roots. Each side is maintained on its own schedule, which is what makes the combination practical rather than fussy.
How do I build the full fire-water-greenery look?
Anchor with pool fire bowls from the Maya series, then alternate these planter-and-water Mayas between them. Same molds, same finishes — flame, falling water, and greenery repeating down the pool edge in one unbroken profile.
Can this bowl ever hold fire?
No — there is no burner or gas provision in the planter and water Maya, and that is intentional. It is the cool half of the composition. For flame, its fire bowl siblings carry the gas systems; this bowl’s contribution is the water and the green.
