Contempo LP Select Long: a 76-inch propane fire table with a 48-inch flame
The American Fyre Designs Contempo LP Select Long firetable is an extra-long, low rectangular table, 76 inches wide, 36 inches deep, and 18.5 inches tall. It has a thick slab top and a 48-inch stainless steel burner that creates a straight row of flame nearly end to end. A door at the end opens to let the propane tank slide out on a tray. Made from concrete reinforced with glass fibers, it looks like stone at a fraction of the weight and comes in seven colors.
It runs on propane only, and you light it by turning the knob and pressing the igniter; the Bluetooth control is not offered on this model. The burner, pan, fittings, regulator, tank drawer, and lava granules are included, and you pick the fill on the page: lava, fire glass, or glass gems. A glass wind guard and a stainless steel cover are optional. Want the shorter version? See the 52-inch Contempo LP Select. The Contempo LP Select Long firetable ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
How long is the Contempo LP Select Long firetable?
Seventy-six inches end to end, with a 36-inch depth and a height of 18.5 inches. That is a full two feet longer than the standard 52-inch Contempo LP Select, so the Long reads as a true statement piece, stretching across the front of a large sectional the way a console table would – except this one carries fire.
What burner spans the Long firetable’s top?
A 48-inch stainless steel linear burner, double the 24-inch run found in the standard Contempo rectangle. On a 76-inch top, that scale matters: the fire holds its proportions instead of looking like a small flame lost on a big table, and the burn stretches far enough that both ends of the piece feel like front-row seats.
Why choose the Long over the standard Contempo LP Select?
Seating math, mostly. The standard model suits a loveseat-and-chairs grouping; the Long is built for bigger arrangements – a full sectional, or two sofas facing each other – where a standard-length table would leave the far seats orphaned. You also gain usable surface at both ends of the burner for trays and glasses once the group settles in.
What does propane-only mean for the Long Contempo?
LP Select models are self-contained propane pieces: a built-in hidden drawer holds a standard 20-pound cylinder, and there is no natural gas version and no plumbing involved. That keeps placement flexible for a piece this size – pool deck, lounge edge, or a spot far from any line. Browse the rest of our fire pits with hidden propane storage to see the same idea at other scales.
Will a 76-inch fire table overwhelm a smaller patio?
It can, so measure first. The Long wants a seating arrangement with real length – a sectional run or a pair of sofas – plus walking room along its 36-inch depth. Its saving grace is height: at 18.5 inches it stays below eye level from any chair, so even at this length it reads as low furniture rather than a wall of concrete.
How is a table this long built to survive outdoors?
It is cast from glass fiber reinforced concrete, which lets a 76-inch span stay strong without the crushing weight of solid poured concrete. The material is weather-resistant and arrives fully finished, so nothing about it is site-built: no masonry, no coatings, no finishing work after delivery. Set it in place, load the drawer, and it is ready for its first evening.
How big of a fire table do I need for entertaining?
Match the table to the seating run, not the patio square footage. If your gatherings fill a sectional or stretch past four or five chairs, a standard-size table leaves the outer seats disconnected from the flame; the 76-inch Contempo Long keeps the whole row in the fire’s company. Smaller, occasional groups do fine around the compact members of the Contempo family.
