Superior VRE3200: a complete stainless outdoor gas fireplace with logs, remote, and no chimney
The Superior VRE3200 is an outdoor gas fireplace with everything in the box. It comes in widths of 36 or 42 inches. Pick the size on the page. The front and every surface exposed to weather are stainless steel, so it can stay outside year round. Your contractor frames a structure around it on the patio and finishes it in stone, stucco, or brick. On the page you pick the brick pattern for the inside, stacked or herringbone.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Vent-free means it needs no chimney or vent pipe at all, so nothing blocks the view above it. The included charred oak ceramic fiber log set sits on a stainless steel grate over a stainless steel burner. Tall yellow flames move like a wood fire. Electronic ignition runs on batteries, so you need no power outside. A wireless remote comes with it. It puts out up to 45,000 BTU. Is the VRE3200 a complete outdoor fireplace or just a firebox?
A complete fireplace: the charred oak ceramic fiber log set, stainless steel burner with concealed gas valve, stainless log grate, battery-operated electronic ignition and a wireless remote are all included. You choose the 36 or 42 in size, the stacked or herringbone refractory liner and natural gas or propane on the selectors; covers, hood and drain pan are optional rows.
How much heat does it produce?
The Specifications tab lists 45,000 down to 30,000 BTU for both sizes, adjustable from the remote. It is a vent-free outdoor fireplace, so there is no chimney to obstruct the view and nothing runs through the roof; heat radiates from the opening to the seating area in front. Framing is 42-3/4 or 48-3/4 in wide, 46-1/2 in high and 20-1/2 in deep.
Does it need electricity?
No. The electronic ignition runs on batteries and is controlled by the wireless remote, so the fireplace works on a patio with no outlet. If you would rather not change batteries, the Features tab lists an optional AC power adapter kit (instructions linked in the Manuals tab) for battery-free ignition; ask us to quote it, as it is not on the selectors.
How does it stand up to weather?
The front face and every surface exposed to weather are 304 stainless steel, with stainless fire screens and grate. For the off-season the Outdoor Cover selector adds a stainless weather cover that protects the firebox interior, and the Drain Pan selector adds a pan for blown-in rain. What is the Deluxe Hood for?
The brushed stainless hood on the Deluxe Hood selector deflects heat forward so a combustible mantel or shelf can sit closer above the opening; the installation manual linked in the Manuals tab gives the reduced mantel clearances it allows. It also finishes the top of the opening in stainless to match the face.
Natural gas or propane?
Both, chosen on the Fuel selector (ZEN natural gas, ZEP propane per the Specifications tab). NG to LP and LP to NG conversion kits are on the Fuel Conversion row for a later change, to be fitted by a qualified gas technician, and volcanic stone for the ember bed is on the Media row.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. She was always super responsive and helpful throughout the process. Don't kid yourself, getting a really nice sauna is not that easy. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
