HUUM Hive Heat LS 12: a small wood sauna stove with a cast iron door, fed from the next room

The HUUM Hive Heat LS 12 is a floor standing wood burning sauna stove made in Estonia for smaller rooms, rated at 12 kW for saunas from 212 to 459 cubic feet. Its firebox extension puts the door in the wall so you can load the fire from the room next door and keep the wood out of the sauna. Fresh air feeds the fire from above for a strong, clean flame that burns the wood completely, and the cast iron furnace door is treated only with natural oils. It is about 18 inches wide, 25 inches deep, and 30 inches tall, weighs 148 pounds, and holds 199 pounds of stones.

What is special about the firebox on this stove?

The firebox extension lets you load firewood from another room, per the description – so wood never needs to be stored in the sauna itself, and the fire is tended without opening the hot room door. That is the LS idea in one sentence.

The weight or packaging of this product requires delivery by special appointment (LTL), and on a wooden pallet.
