Maya fire and water bowl: square steel with a front spill
The Outdoor Plus Maya fire and water bowl is a USA-made, tapered square steel bowl with central flames over lava rock and a narrow front scupper slot spilling a sheet of water. Choose 24, 30, or 36 inches, with baked-on powder coat in 15 colors from black and white to copper vein.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. The pan, burner, scupper, hose, and lava rock are included; a key valve, propane tank pedestal, canvas cover, bullet burner upgrade, fire glass, and burner ornaments are optional. Want a rippling waterfall? Try the Maya wave scupper bowl. The Maya fire and water bowl ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What color options does the powder-coated Maya offer?
Fifteen oven-cured finishes – Black, White, Silver Vein, Java, Gray, Pewter, Copper Vein, Olive Green, Mist, Soft White, Onyx Black, Bronze Hammertone, Sapphire Blue, White Vein and Gold Vein. Powder coat exists for designers who need the bowls to hit an exact palette; unlike copper it never shifts color, and unlike paint it is bonded to survive sun, heat, and splash.
Which sizes are in the lineup?
The powder-coated Maya matches its siblings: 24-inch (OPT-24SQPCFW), 30-inch (OPT-30SQPCFW), and 36-inch (OPT-36SQPCFW). Mixing this variant with the stainless or copper Maya at the same size is a common trick for coordinated-but-not-identical pool walls.
What comes standard with the bowl?
Fire pan and plate, burner, nipple, mounting bracket, NG or LP orifice, whistle-free hose, scupper with 3/4-inch inlet, and lava rock. Ignition is match lit or CSA-certified low voltage electronic; a key valve for at-the-bowl gas control is available at order.
Does it have to be a pool feature?
No – the powder-coated Maya also works over fountains, basins, and water walls anywhere gas and water reach. And if you want the squared Maya look without plumbing water at all, the shape lives on in the standard fire bowl range – this version adds the spill.
Are the water and fire independently controlled?
Fully. The Maya’s scupper draws from your pool or feature pump while the burner draws from its own gas line, each with its own shutoff – so fountain-only, flame-only, or both is your call night to night.
Can rain and splash reach the bowl safely?
Yes – a powder-coated Maya lives outdoors uncovered by design. Rain does not harm the finish or the gas hardware; just let the pan drain and dry before lighting. Winterize the water feed in freezing climates the same way you winterize the rest of the pool plumbing.
How much gas will the burner go through?
It scales with flame height – the Maya’s valve throttles from a low ribbon of flame to full display. Budget roughly what a large grill burner uses at maximum, much less at ambiance level. Natural gas installs never think about it; propane users notice the difference between settings.
