Maya fire and water bowl: raised flame, flat side spill trough
The Outdoor Plus Maya fire and water bowl with gravity spill is a square bowl with a raised center fire box. A narrow, flat trough on one side spills a smooth ribbon of water. Handmade in the USA, it comes in 24, 30, or 36 inches, in hammered copper, stainless steel, or 15 powder coat colors.
Order it for natural gas or propane. Light it with a match, or add electronic ignition and start it with a button. The pan, burner, scupper, hose, and lava rock are included; a key valve, propane tank pedestal, canvas cover, bullet burner upgrade, fire glass, and burner ornaments are optional. Want a broader sheet? See the Maya wide gravity spill bowl. The Maya fire and water bowl ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What is the gravity spill on this Maya, in plain terms?
Water rises inside the bowl and simply spills over the edge, falling in a close, unhurried sheet down the face – no scupper spout at all. The Gravity Spill Maya is the minimalist of the family: the cleanest look, the softest sound, the least splash.
What finishes does the Gravity Spill Maya come in?
Three metals in one listing: hammered copper (OPT-SQ24FANDW series), stainless steel (OPT-SQSS series), and powder coat (OPT-SQPC series) in 15 colors from Black to White. Copper ages into patina, stainless stays untouched, powder coat locks in a chosen color – one spill style, three temperaments.
What sizes does the Gravity Spill Maya come in?
24-inch, 30-inch, and 36-inch squared bowls in every finish, so the Gravity Spill Maya can scale from a spa wall accent to the centerpiece of a long bond beam. All sizes are built to order for liquid propane or natural gas.
What is included with the Gravity Spill Maya?
Fire pan and plate, burner, nipple, mounting bracket, NG or LP orifice, whistle-free hose, scupper hardware, and lava rock, with match lit or CSA-certified low voltage electronic ignition and optional key valve chosen at purchase. Site gas and water lines are supplied by your installer.
How does copper handle the constant overflow?
Beautifully – the wetted rim patinas fastest, streaking toward bronze while the body follows, the living-finish behavior every copper fire pit owner signs up for. If that is not your taste, the stainless or powder-coat Gravity Spill Maya keeps a fixed appearance instead.
Can the flame burn while water overflows the rim?
Yes – the fire plate sits above the water path, and gas and water run on independent systems with independent controls. Flame over a gravity spill is arguably the subtlest fire-and-water combination The Outdoor Plus makes; either element also runs alone.
Does installation differ from a scupper bowl?
Slightly – because the whole rim spills, the Gravity Spill Maya must be set perfectly level or water favors one edge, and flow should match the spec sheet. Both are standard work for a pool contractor, with a licensed gas fitter completing and testing the fuel side.
