Yes — it is the most compact Ascent, with a 25.69 x 23.69 in viewing area and a gentle 15,000 BTU output sized for bedrooms, offices, and cozy dens where larger fireplaces would overheat the space.

Does the Ascent 30 need a chimney to install?

No. Sealed direct vent piping through a wall or roof does everything a chimney would, which is why the B30 can slot into rooms that never had a fireplace at all.

How cheap is the Ascent 30 to operate?

At 15,000 BTU maximum it sips roughly 0.15 therms of natural gas per hour — around 20–25 cents hourly at typical U.S. rates, the lowest running cost in the Ascent family.

What are the Ascent 30’s framing requirements?

Just 30.50 in wide x 35 in high x 14.50 in deep minimum — the smallest footprint in the series — with the unit measuring 30 x 34.63 x 14 in.

Is a blower standard on the Ascent 30?

Yes, the internal heat-circulating blower is included, spreading its 15,000 BTU evenly through the room rather than concentrating warmth at the firebox.

Does the Ascent 30’s glass get dangerously hot?

Freight Claims Policy

Open and inspect the order while the delivery driver is present. If delivery driver does not provide sufficient time to do so, please notate the delivery receipt.

By signing the delivery receipt without noting any damage or missing items, you confirm that your order arrived complete and in excellent condition.

Record any damage or missing pieces directly on the delivery receipt.

Do not discard damaged item(s) or any original packaging. For severe damage, write “Refused due to damage” on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.

Report any damage within two business days, including delivery details and photos showing the issue

Damaged item(s) must be returned within 30 days. Failure to return them will result in a charge to the original payment method.
