The Napoleon High Definition gas fireplace is the first See Through fireplace in the industry to offer so many dynamic design choices for firebox design.
The clean-faced surround design is understated ensuring that it’s all about the fire.
Stick to a rustic and traditional feel with beautifully hand-painted PHAZER® Logs and the split burner system produces beautiful YELLOW DANCING FLAMES® or give the look a modern twist with the Topaz CRYSTALINE™ Ember Bed and burner or the natural-looking Mineral Rock Media Burner.
Besides supplying two rooms with exceptional focal points, the High Definition also features a dual NIGHT LIGHT® which illuminates the ember bed and firebox while gently adding a glow to the room, even when the fire is off.
One fireplace, two rooms, exceptional views, the High Definition is a gorgeously refined fireplace.

Yes — 60,000 BTU with the included internal blower is genuine whole-zone heating for big great rooms; many owners treat it as their primary evening heat source.
What framing does the High Definition 81 need?
A substantial minimum opening of 54.50 in wide x 49.50 in high x 27.75 in deep — its 28.75 in deep firebox is the largest of our Napoleon indoor units. Build strictly to the installation manual.
Does the High Definition 81 need a chimney?
No — even at 60,000 BTU it is direct vent: one sealed pipe through the roof or wall covers exhaust and combustion air, with no masonry chimney required.
What does the High Definition 81 cost to run?
About 0.60 therms of natural gas per hour at maximum — roughly 90 cents hourly at average U.S. rates — with the flame-height control trimming that substantially in normal use.
Is the High Definition 81 outage-capable?
Yes — battery backup on the ignition lights it without power, which matters most on a unit strong enough to carry a whole zone in a storm; the blower resumes with electricity.

Freight Claims Policy
Please follow these very important steps when it comes to Freight Items that are damaged or missing
- Open and inspect the order while the delivery driver is present. If delivery driver does not provide sufficient time to do so, please notate the delivery receipt.
- By signing the delivery receipt without noting any damage or missing items, you confirm that your order arrived complete and in excellent condition.
- Record any damage or missing pieces directly on the delivery receipt.
- Do not discard damaged item(s) or any original packaging. For severe damage, write “Refused due to damage” on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.
- Report any damage within two business days, including delivery details and photos showing the issue
- Damaged item(s) must be returned within 30 days. Failure to return them will result in a charge to the original payment method.

- You will receive an email within 1-2 business days confirming whether your return request has been approved or denied.
- Please also note that a 20% restocking fee may apply to approved returns

- From the date this email is received, you will have 14 days to return the product.
- Once our distributor receives and inspects the returned item(s), your refund will be issued within 1–2 weeks
